The author of "Interview with the Vampire", Anne Rice, has recently written another book. "Christ the Lord out of Egypt" is a story about the 7 year-old Jesus, who departs Egypt with his family to return home to Nazareth.
I don't know enough about religions, but it looks like an interesting book to me.
She is also the writer for the "Queen of the Damned", which was made into a movie, starring Aliyah.
