This maybe a little embarrassing, but worth recording.

So, Cat has been living in Vancouver for over 7 years now. In this western country, where love is floating in the air, flirtatious persons are all over the place, NO ONE has ever tried to flirt with her. NO ONE. Not even minor/major harrassment from perverted old guys on the bus/skytrains! No stranger seemed interested in her ever.

But, today, she broke the shell! 2...I repeat 2 guys, clients, threw some pick-up lines at her, which she only recognized from TV and Hollywood chick flicks.

"What are you doing this weekend?"

"Do you give out your phone numbers?"

OOOOOH YEEEEA!

Though, she handled the situation rather poorly with frightened expressions or pretending to be really busy, mostly because she was slow to react, she was excited about it when she got time to think it over on her break.

Now we say: Congratulations! You made it Cat!
